Repeaters

There are a lot of repeaters in the area.

Load one into your radio, listen, and then key up once you're licensed - you may have to call long enough for operators to hear you as they scan by.

This is my list of repeaters, sorted (generally) by higher to lower activity per my anecdotal analysis.
